On Board With The Lord

Yesterday I sent my dear Mother-in-Law off on a Southwest flight back to San Diego where she resides. Anointing her with Holy Oil while sitting on my kitchen bench before we scurried out the door, I prayed over her, “Lord, please keep her safe. Give her Your Peace. Let there be favor over her from the point of checking in, through security, boarding, and may she sit next to someone who needs ministered to. In Jesus’ Name, Amen”

With baggage loaded into the Jeep Wrangler, we left the house early for an 11:30 am take-off, and quickly got to a McDonald’s drive-thru for a fast breakfast sandwich and hot tea for the road. Traffic to the Chicago Airport was a breeze! Thank you God!

Our Skycap, Seth, was AMAZING!!! As he greeted us warmly, I could tell he had a relationship with the Great One by his enthusiasm, humor, and kindness while noticing his crucifixion cross around his neck. He weighed her two huge and heavy suitcases, offering to help us lighten the load of one that was over-packed, to avoid an overweight fee. How nice was that?! Displaying a beautiful smile and great attitude, he assisted me in transferring items from one bag to another.

All checked in and a wheelchair ordered, the three of us shared our faith in Jesus Christ, unashamedly. In an instant, LOVE poured down upon us from Heaven because….“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” ~ Matthew 18:20 NIV ~ With a blessing and a hug, Seth directed us inside to the wheelchair waiting area where Sweet Nicole awaited us.

After getting Mom situated in her Chariot Seat with her cane and carry-ons, us three ladies began walking. I thanked Nicole and instantly sensed a sweet spirit about her, telling Mom that she was in good hands with this young lady because we prayed for God’s Favor before we left the house. After hearing this, Nicole immediately said, “I could use some prayer”, as she continued wheeling Mom by the exit doors near where I was temporarily parked outside the Departures Drop-off.

Learning that Nicole’s husband was currently in the hospital we stopped and through prophetic words from Above, I prayed for her spouse who is in ICU from a drug overdose.

God appointed this time. God knew that His Daughter needed to know that He loves her and her family, and that everything is going to be okay. This young woman needed someone to encourage her and to pray for strength and peace and for healing and breakthrough in her loved one’s life whom Satan is trying to destroy.

When perfect strangers can meet in a major airport and God of the Universe shows up to speak and bring His Presence to give HOPE to a life situation – that is a MIRACLE!!! When goosebumps and tears rise up because Words are right on target and are exactly what she is going through, this is a super-natural confirmation that GOD IS ALIVE and He cares about all of us!!

Another hug and answer to my own personal prayer that I would be used by the Lord in some way this day, I left through the exit doors, my heart full, in awe of knowing that the Holy Spirit poured out His Power as the three of us experienced something totally amazing!

Bye Mom! I love you! We’ll talk soon! Now go get ON BOARD WITH THE LORD!!

This is how God works through us!! How exciting it is to be a Believer!! I can’t wait to see what He is going to do next!!
